The New President

The world found out that Donald Trump was the president elect on this morning around two.
The students of Texas Southern University were disappointed by the outcome due to the comments and allegations by Trump during his campaign.
“I deal with to many racist on a daily basis and I don’t need my president being one,” said Kobi Ambroise.
The Trump campaign was endorsed by The Crusader which is newspaper by the Klu Klux Klan. The African Americans in this current are aware that many but not all of Trump’s supporters are racist. Many black people believe now that the hidden racist are going to be more. willing to come and show how they truly feel about minorities in this country.
“We have a long way to go as country as seen by this election,” said Olivia Addison.
This is not just the think of minorities but also college educated caucasian women such as Ms. Addison. Trump has belittled not only minorities but also women.
The American people are not pleased with the outcomes of this election and that is evident. People are out protesting in the streets of New York and Chicago as one types this story up.
The people feel miss represented and like Van Wilson said this was a “whitelash against change,”.
In the closing remarks, the black community will have to stand by each other in this time. The people should also not forget that they still have the ability to impeach a president if they are truly unhappy with this selection.

Jay Z and Beyoncé

The presidential election is now just two days away.

Hillary Clinton held a concert to touch the millennial generation. Jay Z, Beyoncé, and Big Sean were some of the headliners in the concert.

“I want my daughter to grow up seeing a women lead our country and knowing that her possibilities and limitless,” said Beyoncé.

Donald Trump was not too fond of Clinton having Jay Z and other musicians at her concert.

“Should I use that language for one event,” said Trump. “Can you imagine if I said that?”

Should artists endorse a certain candidate in an election? They do have such a high influence on many different people in the world.

Trump Rally

The presidential election is now just a few days away.

At a Trump rally in Nevada a protester with a sign that read “Republicans Against Trump” was standing in the rally.

A few protestors yelled at the white gentleman had a gun on him which was untrue. The secret service came and rushed Trump off the stage where he would later return.

The protester was jumped and beaten by Trump protestors. Luckily, security was there to rush him out of the rally before he was seriously injured.

Austyn Crites was the protestor that held the sign up. Crites was just an average high who stayed in Nevada. Crites is a Republican but just doesn’t support Trump.

Election Countdown Day 4

The presidential election is now four days away.

It has now been reported that Al-Qaeda might try to make an attempt at terrorist attack during next weeks election.

The three states that have been said to be targeted are New York, Virginia, and Texas.

“While we do not comment on intelligence matters, we will say the counterterrorism and homeland security communities remain vigilant and well-postured to defend against attacks here in the United States,” a U.S. intelligence official told CBS News.

The government is working fast and diligently to make sure this terror threat does not to fruition.

The American people should be on the lookout for anything that does not look normal and call their local police to report.

The presidential race is currently neck and neck tune in tomorrow to see what’s new in the election.

Election Countdown Day 3

The election is five days away.
There has been more emails of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton released by Wikileaks. This release featured Former Counselor to the President John Podesta along with presidential candidate Clinton.
It also has been shown that the Clinton is currently in the lead in the presidential race but Trump is not far.
In this article I would to influence everyone to go out and vote on Tuesday if you were not able to go out and early vote. If you are in Houston, Texas/Harris County. You will need to go to harrisvotes online and you will put your address in to see where your poll location will be located.
Your vote definitely does matter. If you want to see change in America you have to vote do not listen to nay sayers who will tell you your vote does not matter.

Election Countdown Day 2

The 2016 presidential election is now six days.
In the news today, Donald Trump was endorsed by a Ku Klux Klan newspaper earlier in the day. The name of the paper is The Crusader and their motto is “the premier voice of the white resistance.
Trump and the rest of his committee have emphatically denied any affiliation with the KKK and Senator David Duke. Who has been known to support and the KKK.
Should a presidential candidate be getting an endorsement from an hate group.
In the article in The Crusader it read, “While Trump wants to make America great again, we have to ask ourselves, ‘What made America great in the first place?'” the endorsement reads, according to the Washington Post. “The short answer to that is simple. America was great not because of what our forefathers did — but because of who our forefathers were. America was founded as a White Christian Republic. And as a White Christian Republic it became great.”
The article is saying that the only way America can be great again is by it being lead and only having white Americans in this country.
The real question is when has America ever been truly great? America has been through slavery, voting rights acts, and women’s suffrage just to name a few.
Tune in tomorrow to read Day three of the presidential countdown.
