The Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season went and got a free agent quarterback Josh McCown. He played many games this season but he ended up getting injured in the middle of the season. Backup quarterback Mike Glennon came in and did not play up to par. This had the outcome of the Buccaneers having the worst season in the NFL. Earlier today the Buccaneers released Josh McCown. One reason why they let him go is because he did not live up to standards that the team set out for him. Another reason is because head coach Lovie Smith and the coaching staff are leaning towards picking Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston with their first overall pick.
